Who is this event for?
This event is for Florida-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations with at least one open board seat, and Florida-based professionals who are ready and open to serving on a nonprofit board.
How does the matching work?
Participants rotate through six structured rounds of seven-minute conversations. After the event, nonprofits and candidates each submit their top matches. Mutual selections are notified within 72 hours.
What happens after the event?
Within 72 hours, The People Institute will notify all mutual matches by email. From there, both parties are encouraged to schedule a follow-up conversation to explore fit and next steps.
How will I access the event?
Board Match is hosted entirely on Zoom. You will receive your Zoom link by email after your registration is confirmed. No in-person attendance is available.
Is being on camera required?
Yes — camera is required for the full duration of the event. Participants who are not on camera will not be permitted to join the matching rounds. Please plan accordingly and test your setup in advance.
